What time is Dominic Cummings' statement today?
The committee will begin at 9:30am today.
It is possible that the committee will last up to six hours meaning it could overlap with the Prime Minister's Questions at midday.
What is Dominic Cummings expected to say?
Cummings is set to sensationally lift the lid on how the Prime Minister acted too slow to lock down the country in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic.
The former top adviser dropped a string of allegations on Twitter over the weekend – some of which might be mentioned in today's committee.
This includes the claim that the Government had initially planned to use the herd immunity approach to the pandemic before it was rapidly ripped up and the country was forced into lockdown.
The scorned ex-adviser will point the finger directly at his former boss and say that thousands of lives were needlessly lost by his "awful decisions".
Dom has threatened to release confidential information from the time of the pandemic – and No10 will be watching carefully to see if he breaks official secret laws.
Cummings is also expected to lash out at Health Sec Matt Hancock for his response during the pandemic.
And he will blast the Westminster bubble for failing to realise the whole country wanted desperately to go into a lockdown.
