THE body of missing Colorado woman Suzanne Morphew has been discovered three years after she disappeared.
Now three years after her she vanished, Suzanne's daughters continued to maintain the innocence of their father, Barry Morphew.
Do Suzanne and Barry Morphew have children?
Suzanne Morphew vanished on Mother's Day on May 10, 2020, in the Salida, Colorado area, leaving behind two adult daughters – Mallory and Macy.
Investigators found an item that potentially belonged to Suzanne, who was 49 years old at the time of her disappearance.
On September 22, 2023, Suzanne's body was identified. Her remains were identified as hers a few days later on September 27.
This revelation comes months after Barry Morphew's charges in connection to her disappearance were dropped.
Both Mallory and Macy stood by their father and attended most of his court hearings.
He was released on bail on September 20, 2021. Barry Morphew's court hearing was expected to take place in May 2022.
However, a month before on April 19, the murder case against him was dropped.
According to 9News, Mallory told the Fremont County judge: "We miss our mom dearly and we know our dad didn’t have anything to do with it,” and that she and her sister both “fully support this dismissal."

Her sister, Macy, told the judge: “We’re thankful we can go on with our lives and just take time to heal.”
On May 6, 2022, Macy and Mallory shared more of their thoughts with ABC News.
Mallory said during the interview: "We've been silent for a long time and we've decided that we finally want to break the silence."
"We just know our dad better than anyone else and we know he was not involved in our mom's disappearance."
She shared: "These last few years have been the most painful thing that we've ever experienced."
"We just miss our mom so much and we want her to be found."
Macy also added to her sister's comments: "It's been such an emotional rollercoaster and just traumatizing."
What did Barry Morphew say about his wife's disappearance?
Barry Morphew recorded a video after his wife went missing saying, "Oh Suzanne, if anyone is out there and can hear this, that has you, please, we’ll do whatever it takes to bring you back."
"We love you, we miss you, your girls need you.
"No questions asked, however much they want – I will do whatever it takes to get you back. Honey, I love you, I want you back so bad."
Barry Morphew had also offered a $100,000 reward for information on his wife's whereabouts.
Suzanne's body was discovered in September 2023, while investigating an unrelated case three hours south of Denver.
No arrests have been made since the announcement and details on the state of her body have not been released.
