WENDY Williams slammed Gwen Stefani's ex for complaining about co-parenting and insisted "mothers are the number one parents."
The daytime talk show host said Gavin Rossdale needs to "pipe down" and follow Gwen's lead when it comes to their children.
Wendy said: "Gavin, you need to pipe down and go along" with what his ex Gwen says for their three sons.
She added that as important as fathers are, "moms are the #1 parent"
This follows Gavin telling SiriusXM about the challenges of divorced couples co-parenting amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Gavin said "They went to Oklahoma and they're on a ten-thousand-acre ranch, and I think it's ok for now.
"But it's a real big dilemma for parents and kids with split custody."
He went on: "You're mindful of them. I know who's around me and know who's bringing the corona – no one – but you send your kids out and now they're coming back to you and now you're prone to whoever they're with, so it's a tricky one with all divorced parents"
But Wendy argued: "If you really want to know how you're kids are doing, you drop them off at the top of the ranch…"
Gwen, 50, and Gavin finalized their divorced in 2016, after 14 years of marriage.
This followed Gwen's alleged affair with their nanny.
The two are the parents to sons Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 5.
Since then Gwen has been with her boyfriend of four years, country music star Blake Shelton, 43,
Gavin also shares daughter, model Daisy Lowe, with fashion designer Pearl Lowe.
The 54-year-old Bush frontman added: "I miss them, and they should be back.
"I have them the first week and then I haven't had them for ten or 11 days, and that's a long time, normally I have them every five days or something."
"At first you could be selfish, 'cool, play that guitar more.'
"But now I'm like, 'I prefer it when they're around.'"
