This Mornings Josie Gibson is unrecognisable as she ditches blonde locks and goes brunette

This Morning’s Josie Gibson looked unrecognisable as she ditched her long blonde locks for a brunette look to mark Halloween.

Josie and her co-host for the week, Rylan, transformed into spooky characters as the ITV show aired a special creepy episode on Tuesday, 31 October.

Josie dressed as a witch, wearing a stunning lacy black dress with a black corset and a black top hat, completed with red roses.

As for 35 year old Rylan, he chose to have his hair slicked back, with some dark eye makeup, alongside a black silk shirt, and black jeans.

Rylan joked that his costume made him look like the 90s pop legend Marcella Detroit from Shakespears Sister.

Rylan then started to sing one of the duo’s hits, Stay: “You better hope and pray…" admitting, "'that used to really scare me.'”

He then complimented 38 year old Josie, saying that she looked “gorgeous.”

Responding, Josie admitted: “You know what, I want to wear a corset for the rest of my life.”

Rylan then joked: “So do I,” before Josie added: “You know what, I can hardly breathe, but I think it's doing things for me.”

The costumes went down a storm with the viewers at home, but Josie in particular stood out.

Taking to X, formally known as Twitter, one person wrote: “#ThisMorning Josie looking amazing!”

While another penned: “Rylan and Josie look amazing! #ThisMorning.” Someone else commented: “ Josie Gibson is looking fantastic on #ThisMorning.”

“Rather impressed by #Josie Gibson's Halloween look today on #ThisMorning,” said another viewer.

Finally, a fan added: “Although it’s a silly costume & not a great wig- I must say Josie looks awesome with brown hair, it really flatters her skin tone & she looks so fresh #thismorning.”

Rylan has returned to the daytime show this week, and to mark his first Halloween on the programme they showed a compilation of his spookiest looks from his time hosting it.

One of the clips showed Rylan and Alison dressed up as Mark Antony and Cleopatra, with him receiving a huge scare when someone emerged from a coffin.

He then reflected on that clip, as he said: “'I almost lost every job I've ever had when he jumped out… I almost said a very bad word.”
