One contestant on The Chase was eager to dish out a healthy dose fighting talk – but fans were shocked when it wasn’t aimed at The Chaser.

During Thursday’s (November 30) visit to the ITV studios, Bradley Walsh welcomed four new players onto the show. As viewers tuned in to the primetime show, the TV host welcomed Jonathon, Barbara, Welsey and Kirsten as they put their general knowledge to the test.

This week the quartet took on Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis as they battled it out to take home the enviable cash prize. And it’s fair to say the group didn’t come to mess around.

First up to the podium was Jonathan who managed to earn an impressive £4,000 in the cash builder challenge. Before he went head-to-head with the Irish pro quizzer, the former Coronation Street star asked the professional nanny which Chaser he believes he will be taking on.

Without hesitation, the caretaker from London guessed Darragh. The next person the dad-of-two asked was Barbara from Stourport-on-Seven.

Before he asked her for her prediction, Brad asked what she did for a living. It was at this point the player confessed that she is a psychic, before she predicted that Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan would be the mastermind they would be competing against.

After listening to her prediction, the 43-year-old walked out on stage as Jonathan muttered under his breath: “Who’s the psychic now?”
