Naga Munchetty marched off the set of BBC Breakfast live on air when weather presenter Carol Kirkwood made a joke about forgetting her name this morning.
In the hilarious clip, Carol tells Brits that it will be “chilly this weekend” before passing over to her co-stars Naga and Charlie Stayt.
But the weather forecaster appears to hesitate a little and says, “Naga and… Charlie,” in a blip that didn’t go unnoticed.
Naga then says to Charlie: “Do you know what? I think she almost forgot your name then.”
“You know, for a second I thought she did too,” he says, before adding: “What is going on this morning, Carol?"
Tongue in cheek in her response, Carol’s next joke makes Naga get off the sofa and walk away live on air.
“I would never forget Charlie’s name,” Carol says. “Naga’s hmm maybe, but Charlie, never.”
Abruptly standing up, Naga puts her hands in her pockets and jokingly walks off camera, before spinning back around and sitting down again.
Earlier, Carol forgot Naga’s name after delivering a segment, saying: “Back to you Charlie and, erm, Naga.”
Pretending to be offended, Naga asked her: “Did you forget my name there, Carol? I think you forgot my name.”
Laughing, Carol said: “How could I forget your name Naga? But yes I did.”
Naga was previously left-faced when asked live on-air if she had "slept with Prince" who had got his bodyguards to ask her to dance while in a nightclub.
The 45-year-old, from Streatham, south London, met the late musician while she was still a student at university and declined to answer the cheeky question.
