Love Islander reveals painful health diagnosis and begs for help after 5 days of hell

Megan Barton-Hanson has revealed that she is suffering from the painful condition Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which she says has left her in "hell."

Taking to her Instagram Story, the former Love Island star, 29, wrote: "Which of my queens have ever suffered from Pelvic inflammatory disease?

"I'd never heard of it but think I may have had my first experience. I've not had pain/fever quite like it the last 5 days have been hell…

"If you have good Essex/London-based gynaecologist recommendations please let me know or any tips or remedies for the pain and to stop it from reoccurring [five pink heart emojis]."

According to the NHS, PID is an infection of the female reproductive system and can cause severe pain in the pelvis or lower tummy.

After sharing her health diagnosis, Megan returned to Instagram to share that "Jetlag and being in pain" were dangerous as she shared a screenshot of her searching for a £23,000 Hermes Kelly bag at 3:23am in the morning.

It comes after Megan was rumoured to be returning to the Love Island villa in the upcoming All Stars edition of the show.

According to MailOnline, Megan and Georgia Steel are said to be quite high on the producer's wishlist.

And back in February when rumours about the show first started to circulate, The Sun claimed that bosses had a “wishlist” of ex-islanders they were hoping would be willing to return.

The list is reported to include Scott Thomas, Kem Cetinay, and Sophie Piper, who is the younger sister of The Saturdays' Rochelle Humes.

Megan has yet to confirm or deny if she will be taking part, however she recently reunited with her on-again-off-again girlfriend Demi Sims, making a return to the villa somewhat unlikely.

Earlier this year Demi confirmed that she had rekindled her romance with Megan after splitting up with the reality TV star two years ago, and they appear to still be going strong.

During an appearance on the Celebrity Skin Talk podcast, Demi explained that, after previously dating in 2019, the pair ran into each other again at a lingerie photoshoot for OnlyFans.

She said she "could sense" that there were still feelings between the two, and that she "knew from that moment we were going to get things back on".

The pair had first sparked rumours that they are back together in a cosy video on TikTok, which Demi had captioned: "Convincing your ex to get back with you."
