Love Island star returns to her normal job despite 'TV offers' and huge fame on the show | The Sun

A LOVE Island star has revealed that she’s returned to her normal job despite ‘TV offers’ and huge fame on the reality show.

Whitney Adebayo soared to fame after finishing as a finalist on this year’s Love Island, alongside her boyfriend Lochan Nowacki.

But she’s going back to work on her wig business, which she revealed on a recent podcast.

Whitney, 25, said yes to carrying on the business when asked by Saving Grace host GKBarry.

“People loved your f****** hair, it would always look amazing,” GKBarry told Whitney.

Whitney told her nothing has changed in her life since leaving the villa: “I still go through Camden and see people and it’s just cool vibes.”

Whitney’s wig business is named CC Hair – which stands for Candy Corner –  and she offers up a host of wigs, closures and accessories.

It features both real and synthetic hair and styles that help you to blend your hairline with your skin.

Love Island star Whitney started the business when she was still at university and she’s spoken about her reasons behind beginning it.

She said: “Like a lot of us girls I’ve always had a passion for hair, however I noticed a lot of flaws in the hair industry that I couldn't overlook which is why I started Candy Corner in my second year of university.

“The goal was to break traditional beauty standards and social status rooted in the hair industry and build a community that comes together to genuinely support each other through their love of hair.”

Whtiney’s career move comes after the star was seen locked in "tense" talks backstage with Lochan, at the National Television Awards this week.

A number of onlookers said the pair "looked miserable" and unhappy to be in each other's company at the star-studded bash.

Guests spotted the couple looking "distant" throughout the night, with some fearing that the pair are set to call it quits.

A partygoer told The Sun: "Whitney and Lochan looked a bit down and miserable on what should be the best night of the year.

"They were seen having quiet chats away from their group of mates.

"At times they looked a bit fed up and Whitney didn't look impressed.

"They are a great couple, so it's worrying to see them showing signs of a split just weeks after going official."

Whitney looked glam in a green sequin ball gown, while aspiring TV chef Lochan looked dapper in a black suit.
