The I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp is continuing to be battered with storms – and could face "destructive winds" and hailstones tomorrow, Wednesday 29 November, which would force ITV to evacuate the celebrities.
Instead of the usual sunny skies viewers see on screen, the end of November in Australia has featured multiple storms and heavy rain on a number of occasions.
Many of the celebrities have commented on the miserable weather on-screen, joking that they were encouraged to come to "sunny Australia" but had no idea constant wind and rain would be awaiting them.
There are more weather warnings this week in New South Wales and Queensland, with the prospect of flooding and strong winds in and around Murwillumbah where the camp is based on the border of the two states.
ITV bosses are now said to be on red alert at the prospect of having to move the celebs out of camp if things do get dangerous.
Looking at their predictions for Wednesday, The Australia Bureau of meteorology states on its website: "Chance of a thunderstorm, possibly severe with damaging winds inland. Possible hail and heavy falls inland."
Meterologist Jonathan How also said: "On Wednesday, we see the severe thunderstorm risk extend to the coast taking in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra.
"In parts of southern Queensland and in northern New South Wales is where we could see destructive winds of 125 kilometres an hour as well as giant hail."
The I'm A Celebrity camp also had around 22mm of rainfall today, 28 November, to dampen the celebs.
It wouldn't be the first time production staff have had to take action amid strong weather coming in, as the Aussie camp was evacuated back in 2015. At the time, thunder, lightning and torrential rain poured into the jungle and meant that the stars' safety could have been at risk.
The bad weather also meant cameras and lighting used on the show lost power for a few hours. Celebs took shelter in the Bush Telegraph before returning to camp later.
What's more, when the show was filmed in Gwrych Castle in North Wales in 2021, the celebs were forced to completely leave the area and stay in nearby guest houses when the weather played havoc with the set.
The roof was taken off a building used for editing the programme and the show had to make do with highlights and pre-recorded bits from Ant and Dec before it went off air, with the celebs returning back into camp after the weekend when things were repaired to complete the series.
An ITV spokesperson has addressed the risks of storms and heavy rain on the campmates, assuring that they're prepared for all possibilities.
"We have contingencies in place for all weather eventualities," they said.
While the rest of the campmates gear up for another run of heavy rain and storms, one campmate who is safely back in the UK for its wintry cold snap is food critic Grace Dent, 50.
The star left the jungle after withdrawing from her Bushtucker Trial on "medical grounds," and later left her campmates in tears with an emotional goodbye letter.
