I’m A Celeb: Nigel talks Josie out of doing the trial
Josie Gibson admitted she was “totally gobsmacked” after Danielle Harold was the fifth celebrity to be eliminated from the Australian jungle. The ITV presenter is now the only female as she is one of the final four that remains in the reality series.
Danielle, who is best known for her role on the BBC soap opera EastEnders, was voted out earlier this week and it was clear that Josie shared a close bond with her.
Speaking about her exit in the Bush Telegraph, Josie exclaimed: “I’m just totally gobsmacked! Now, I’m the only female in town. Now, I’m doing it for the ladies.”
Danielle, 31, recently made a bizarre confession that she had to wash Nigel Farage’s underwear whilst she was in camp. After leaving the jungle, she said: “Nige, I’ve done his washing for him every day. And it’s not every day you can say you’ve washed Nigel Farage’s pants in a creek, is it? It’s definitely a highlight of my life.”
The actress is now supporting Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson to go on and win the show. When she left the jungle, she celebrated by ordering a takeaway from McDonald’s and a Pina Colada cocktail.

Danielle admitted: “I ordered two double cheeseburgers, two chips and a coke. They told me to take it easy when you come out. I was like, ‘No!’ The sugar rush after was amazing.”
The 31-year-old was the fifth celebrity to be evicted from the jungle. She also shared that she shared a close bond with American singer Jamie Lynn Spears, who left the jungle on medical grounds.
The following day, JLS star Marvin Humes was the sixth celebrity to be voted out. He had previously shared an emotional moment when he was reunited with his wife Rochelle Humes.

Josie is best known for her bubbly personality and interviewing some of the nation’s famous stars on This Morning. She works alongside fellow presenters including Rochelle Humes and Alison Hammond.
She first shot to fame when she appeared on series 11 of Big Brother, which she went on to win. Josie is also a doting mother to her son, Reggie, who she had with her ex-partner Terry in 2018.
Josie is in the final four alongside Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage, boxer Tony Bellew and Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson. The winner will be crowned either King or Queen of the Jungle on Sunday evening.
