Huge hit TV show in talks for return reveals show star | The Sun

A TOP TV show is tipped for a huge return to screens after wrapping following six seasons.

The cop drama, which saw a white collar criminal join forces with the FBI, ran from 2009 until 2014.

Yet now actor Matt Bomer, who plays con artist Neal Caffrey, has teased a reboot is on the cards.

He confirmed there is "very legitimate talk" of the programme, created by Jeff Eastin, being back on the box.

Matt, who starred in White Collar for the full six seasons, told website TVLine: "There has been talk.

"It’s actually very legitimate talk, it’s in conversation."

He added: "A lot of things need to fall into place, but there is a plan in effect, at least, so we’ll see what happens."

Back in 2021, he was one of the first to speak out following the tragic death of his White Collar co-star Willie Garson, who played Mozzie.

At the time, he wrote an emotional tribute which read:

"Willie. I don’t understand. And it’s not fair. This past year, you taught me so much about courage and resilience and love.

"I still haven’t wrapped my head around a world without you in it- where I can’t call you when I need to laugh, or be inspired. The last thing you did when we said goodbye was pull down your mask (I hate covid), smile, and wink at me.

"I know that it wasn’t reflective of the pain you were going through, but it was indicative of everything you were and are to me: some one who lifted me up, who made me better, and who always, always made me smile.

"This also reminded me how strong our White Collar family is. We were all there for Willie, and for each other. I love you forever Willie Garson. You live on in our hearts and minds always: and your White Collar family is always here for Nathen [Willie's son].

"Save a place for me, because you know I want to be at your table up there."

Another White Collar star, Tim DeKay, wrote of the Sex And The City actor: "Godspeed, Wilhelm. You know I love you and always will."

Matt added to how paying tribute to Willie's character had been front and centre while chatting about further White Collar episodes.

He said: "Obviously, that’s the first thing that came to my mind, but I felt that what Jeff Eastin presented to Tim and I honours what he contributed to the show and honours him as a person."

A spokesperson for 20th Television Studio declined to comment.
