Coronation Street stars Joe Duttine and Sally Carman are engaged, after Joe popped the question in a sweet outdoor proposal earlier today.
The actor, who plays Tim Metcalfe on the hit ITV soap, broke the news over Twitter earlier this evening.
Sally – who plays Corrie's Abi Franklin – first met Joe during filming in the fictional village of Weatherfield.
Joe shared a pic of himself and his bride-to-be holding up two champagne flutes, saying cheers to their future together.
On Sally's ring finger, Joe had planted a dazzling emerald engagement ring, which sparkled in the light.
Refusing to let the coronavirus pandemic get in the way of romance, he captioned the happy shot: "She said yes everyone, convid 19 [sic] can f**k off…"
In the comments below, Tim's fans and celeb pals alike sent words of congratulations, making it clear they were chuffed for the happy couple.
One gushed: "Yesss!!! Massive congrats guys! So much love xxx"
A second added: "Such lovely news! HUGE congratulations to you both."
While a third added: "Congratulations guys x."
The couple went public with their romance last November, when they announced they had moved in together.
Celebrating their moving day, Sally shared a sweet post of the lovebirds with their arms wrapped around one another in their new kitchen.
Captioned "we're in," Sally added the hashtags "home sweet home" and "the light isn't wonky in the slightest".
Before moving in together, the sweethearts kept their relationship under wraps, refusing to give in to speculation.
Congratulations Joe and Sally!
