CHESNEY and Gemma are at their wit's end as 10-year-old Joseph goes missing in Coronation Street.
As parents to quadruplets born in 2019, the couple are scraping by, struggling to provide expensive things for their eldest son.
Unfortunately, Joseph (William Flanagan) becomes the target of bullies due to his family's modest earnings.
Another hardship for the schoolboy to handle, four years after the tragic death of his birth mother Katy in a car accident.
The news comes as a shock to both Gemma, played by Dolly-Rose Campbell, and Chesney (Sam Aston).
The pair are made aware of the bullying in a brand new Coronation Street episode expected on the air on January 10, 2021.
Seeking guidance, Chesney turns to his half-sister Fiz Stape who recommends he focuses on Joseph.

But who is responsible for Joseph going missing?
While his parents make a tearful public appeal for his safe return, as Chesney admits to Gemma he fears he'll never see his son again, it turns out that Joseph has not been kidnapped.
The schoolboy has in fact ran away from home and is seen wandering the streets with a holdall bag and rolled up tent.
