Big Brother's Paul reveals how his girlfriend reacted to Olivia 'romance' and accuses show bosses of cutting out scenes | The Sun

BIG Brother's Paul Blackburn shared how he reassured his girlfriend regarding the on-screen 'romance' he had with Olivia Young and asserted that show producers edited out crucial scenes.

The 24-year-old discussed the constant rumours about their supposed romantic connection during his time on the show.

Although, Paul has a girlfriend on the outside, to viewers, it looked like he was engaging in flirtatious interactions with Olivia.

When asked by OK! about how he dealt with reassuring his girlfriend, Paul said: "In the house, I knew in the back of my mind, me and my girlfriend are very secure in our relationship.

"You're allowed to have a laugh and a joke, and as I've said to everyone, us Scots and Scousers have always had the similar sort of banter. We were always gonna get on.

After mentioning that he sleeps with his "girlfriend's teddy bear", he went on to add: "None of that got aired so I feel like it got massively interpreted and the narrative got pushed for me and her [Olivia] from the get-go."

"We were just friends, there was nothing to it. We all cuddled each other. Matty gave me massages all the time and it was the way we expressed our feelings in the house.

"We found comfort in giving each other a hug. We were all in it together, we were one big team it wasn't as diverse as it seems."
