BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent snaps 'don't say that!' at Jon Kay as he interrupts Carol Kirkwood with 'gloomy' news | The Sun

SALLY Nungent had a tiff with Jon Kay on BBC Breakfast when he shared some gloomy news after Carol Kirkwood's weather announcement.

The blonde forecaster announced that temperatures are starting to drop in her segment on the morning show.

Although Brits can expect a few sunny days in the upcoming week, Carol explained that the weather is starting to get colder.

She told the presenting duo: "The temp, Sally and Jon, is slipping a bit more."

And Sally, 52, was not happy with Jon's response.

He shared his opinion on why temperatures are dropping in the UK, saying: "Slipping into Autumn indeed…"

The sofa queen snapped: "Oh don't say that! It's still summer."

However, it seems even Sally is feeling the chill as she changed her mind a few minutes after disagreeing with Jon.

She relented: "It's not is it? It feels very autumnal today."

The co-stars were also left in complete shock when they watched a reporter wrestle in GRAVY earlier before being 'knocked out' in baffling scenes.

Jon and Sally got more than they bargained for when they were asked to report on the special event in Lancashire.

Jon said: "For the last 15 years, look at this.

"It has been the venue for the World Gravy Wrestling Championships, which is basically what it says on the can of gravy granules."

As the aerial shots of the event were then shown on screen, Jon revealed that one important member of the BBC team actually entered himself into the competition.
