WWE have snapped-up highly-rated Leon Ruff to compete on their NXT brand.
PWInsider claims that the former EVOLVE star has signed a deal with Vince McMahon's company.
The 24-year-old has appeared on Raw, SmackDown, Main Event, NXT, and 205 Live during the empty arena era.
WWE acquired EVOLVE earlier this month and reportedly landed several of the promotion's talents in the deal.
Ruff, who has been likened to Jeff Hardy, has now been announced as the first confirmed signing.
The American first appeared on the March 20 episode of Main Event, losing quickly to Aleister Black.
The duo's chemistry impressed officials backstage and they ran the match back on a following episode of Monday Night RAW.

WWE released a feature video on Ruff in which he said: "It's been a crazy rollercoaster.
"The Aleister [Black] match was supposed to be a one-off thing and then to find out I get brought back to wrestle him on Raw was really cool.
"Three years earlier, I paid for close to front row seats to Raw. To go from there to being in the ring was a really special moment because my mom and dad got to see me wrestle on TV."
He continued, "I wasn't working during the pandemic, I started getting these extra spots and I really started working hard so they could keep bringing me back so I could start bringing more money in to help contribute to the household."
Ruff is currently dating NXT Referee Aja Smith, who previously wrestled under the name Aja Perera across the US, Japan, and Mexico.
In February, she made history as the WWE's first full-time black referee.
Ruff meanwhile most recently stepped into the ring with Brit wrestler Drake Maverick on 205 Live last week.
The latter was one of the few WWE stars released and then re-hired by McMahon during the coronavirus pandemic.
