A woman’s day was made when a stranger handed her a heartwarming note.
Tracey Hamnett was out walking at the New Brighton Beach Promenade in the Wirral when she was handed the letter.
According to Liverpool Echo, the 47-year-old said: "This young lady walked up to me. I thought at first she was going to ask for directions, and she just said can I give you this, please?
"She handed me a piece of paper and started skipping off with a nice spring in her step kind of thing.
"She had lovely long hair, very pretty, in her early twenties.
"I looked at it and read it and said to her, 'oh my god, that's so nice. Thank you very much!'"
The colourful note, which was handed over by the kind stranger, read: "In case nobody told you today – you are doing amazing, you are beautiful, you are loved.”
Tracey added: "She turned around and said 'I just want to spread a little kindness' and that was it, she carried on her way handing little notes out to other people.
"It was lovely, and just what we need in the times we're in at the moment.
"It was nice, and gave me a nice warm fuzzy feeling if I'm being honest."
After Tracey posted about the random act of kindness on the Wirral Gossip Facebook group, it received over 500 likes and a hundred comments.
One person said: "It's the little things that make you feel good, how nice is that."
Another commented: "So sweet making someone feel very special lovely kind person very thoughtful."
Other people posted to say they had also been handed notes by a young woman in a similar way.
One woman posted a photo of a note given to her that she had kept.
