Emily Atack has became a staple to our TV screens over recent years, having became a permanent fixture on ITV2 show Celebrity Juice and even fronting her very own show.

The actress, 32, first found fame thanks to for her portrayal of Charlotte Hinchcliffe in hit show, The Inbetweeners, and has seen her career go from strength-to-strength ever since.

It appears Emily's inherited her mum's talents, with her also being an actress who has starred in titles such as EastEnders, Crossroads and Holby City.

Who is Kate Robbins?

Kate, 63, is a an actress, comedian, and talented singer. She found fame in the 1980s, when her single, More Than In Love, made it into the top 10 on the UK Official Charts.

Kate began her acting career on soap opera Crossroads, and has gone on to star on multiple well-known shows.

The multi-talented star was also the brains behind the theme tune to Surprise, Surprise and provided nearly all of the female voices for hit show Spitting Image in the 80s and 90s.

In more recent years, Kate has starred in Holby City as expectant mother Stella Clark and on BBC One soap EastEnders as talent agent Jen Glover.

The 63 year old surprised fans recently when she featured in Ricky Gervais' hit Netflix series, After Life.

Kate portrays Penny Spencer Wright in the recently released third season of the show, and took to Instagram to share some behind the scenes footage of her in costume, and with Ricky.

Many fans were shocked to realise that Kate portrays Penny, after Emily shared a gushing post praising her mum's performance.

The 32 year old star wrote on social media: "Proud isn’t even the word. My mother playing Penny Spencer Wright in Afterlife, reminding everyone what an absolute comedy legend she is.


"I remember the first time I ever saw her on stage in Edinburgh when I was about 9 years old, and someone came over to me and said “your mum is one hell of a woman!” – I didn’t really know what that meant then, I do now @katerobbins".

Kate also boasts some famous family members, with it previously being revealed that she is a first cousin once removed of musician Paul McCartney.

Kate's own mum, Elizabeth Robbins, was The Beatles legend's first cousin, and it looks like the families still keep in touch, with Kate previously posting a snap of her and Paul to Instagram.

Emily has also been spotted hanging out with Paul's daughter, fashion designer, Stella McCartney, at one of her shows in Paris in the past.

Kate's siblings also boast impressive careers, with one of her sisters being fellow actress Amy Robbins, while another is Emma Robbins, star of girl group The Sheilas.
