How Did Prince Charles Tell Prince William and Prince Harry About His Coronavirus Diagnosis?

The royal family recently announced that Prince Charles has contracted the novel coronavirus. Palace officials assured the public that Charles has only experienced “mild symptoms” and is currently in good health. While royal watchers hope for the best for the heir to the throne, fans have been wondering how Prince William and Prince Harry learned about their father’s illness.

The royals confirm Prince Charles has coronavirus

The royal family has taken measures to reduce the chances of spreading COVID-19 among their ranks. This includes canceling future events and remaining in self-isolation until the pandemic is under control.

Despite these measures, Clarence House recently confirmed that PrinceCharles has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. According to HelloMagazine, officials revealed that the 71-year-old is in “goodhealth” and is remaining at home until he recovers.

“The Prince of Wales has tested positive for Coronavirus. Hehas been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and hasbeen working from home throughout the last few days as usual,” thestatement reads.

The statement noted that Camilla Parker Bowles has also undergone testing for the virus and does not have it at this time. Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, are currently staying at their estate in Scotland, where they will remain for several weeks.

The NHS administered the test on Prince Charles, who appeared inpublic as recently as last week. Given his advanced age, Charles has a higherrisk of suffering serious symptoms from the virus.

How did Prince Charles get the coronavirus?

It remains unclear how Charles contracted the coronavirus. The Prince of Wales conducted numerous public engagements over the past few weeks, so there is no telling where he may have gotten it.

“It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caughtthe virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his publicrole during recent weeks,” Clarence House added.

Charles is the only member of the British royal family who hastested positive for the novel coronavirus. Other royals around the world havegotten the virus, including Prince Albert of Monaco and Prince Henrik ofDenmark.

Prior to Prince Charles’ positive test, the royals canceled all of their pubic engagements for the next few weeks and will likely cancel more if the pandemic is not under control by then.

With most of the senior members of the monarchy inself-isolation, the chances of them spreading the coronavirus to each other arepretty slim. Hopefully, Charles has a speedy recovery and the rest of theroyals can avoid catching the virus.

How did Prince William and Prince Harry find out about Charles’diagnosis?

In light of the pandemic, most members of the royal family are practicing social distancing. William is staying at his country estate in Norfolk with his wife, Kate Middleton, and three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Harry, meanwhile, is residing in Canada with his wife, Meghan Markle, and son, Archie Harrison. The couple is staying in a home on Vancouver Island.
