These days, when something catastrophic happens, the internet is quick to make light of the situation by circulating memes about it on social media.
Well, one gamer has taken things a step further after they decided to make a mod on Grand Theft Auto V of the OceanGate Titan submersible just days after it went missing near the wreckage of the Titanic.
In videos shared on social media, a Tiktoker named @morsmutual_ shared a clip showing a character entering into the sub before exploring the ocean in it.

They managed to play with it for a few seconds before it ultimately crashed and went dark in an attempt to mirror the events of the past few days.
In the caption of the clip, which has gained more than 62,000 likes, they wrote: "Someone made the Titanic submarine into GTA."
TikTok viewers were left stunned at the mod and demanded that they be able to "explore shipwrecks on the map" with the animated Titan vessel.
One user said: "Now just explore the shipwrecks on the map."
Another added: "Y'all way too fast at this!"
A third commented: "How has somebody already made this a mod?"
However, not everyone approved of the mod as they took to the comments claiming it was "too soon omg."
It has not officially been confirmed who made the mod for the game, but people in the comments have mentioned a gamer named SkylineGTRfreak.
It comes after a harrowing illustration video showed how the doomed OceanGate submersible would likely have imploded within 0.03s on descent to Titanic wreck site.
The five passengers boarded the ill-fated "Titan" sub were killed in a "catastrophic implosion", authorities announced on Thursday after confirming a debris field found 1,600ft from the Titanic wreck.
OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, experienced Titanic diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet, British billionaire Hamish Harding, businessman Shahzadah Dawood and his 19-year-old son Suleman, were presumed dead on the failed expedition.
