KEVIN DE BRUYNE has vowed to extend his career by two years as he is missing football during the coronavirus lockdown.

The City ace has been forced to rethink his retirement plans after the killer bug put football across Europe on standby.

The Belgian midfielder, 28, has decided to play on for longer than he planned after discussing his future with wife Michele.

He was sidelined for a large chunk of last season due to a serious knee injury and now the outbreak of the coronavirus has left him missing out once again.
