The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch Lead American Music Awards Nominations

The Weeknd and Roddy Ricch lead the American Music Awards nominations with eight nominations each.

The awards ceremony will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 22 at 8 p.m. EST/PST on ABC.

Both the artists are competing for the most coveted Artist of the Year award along with Justin Bieber, Post Malone and Taylor Swift.

The Weeknd has also been nominated for Favorite Music Video for “Blinding Lights,” while Ricch has been nominated for “The Box.”

Megan Thee Stallion follows with five nominations, including nods in the new artist and collaboration of the year categories.

Swift, who has the most AMA wins of all time at 29, has received four nods. Lady Gaga, Bieber, Doja Cat, Bad Bunny and DaBaby have also received 4 nominations each.
