Jade Thirlwall is hoping to launch a successful solo career following Little Mix’s split.
The 29 year old singer has been in the studio with DJ Jax Jones, following the news that Little Mix are going on hiatus after they finish their UK and Ireland Confetti tour next year.
Jade is said to have already signed up a top management team and is thought to be considering various contracts with record labels as she plans her next moves after her ten year run with the girl group.
Jax Jones – real name Timucin Lam – has now teased a collaboration with the star, calling her “super-talented”.
"Little Mix’s success is made up of all their individual talents, so I am sure they will all find a way to express themselves musically," the DJ toldThe Sun.
“I was in the studio with Jade and she is mega-cool and super-talented. She is also such fun to be around.
“We wrote something really cool so hopefully that can come out too.”
A source backed up Jax’s claims, telling the publication: “Jade’s been working super-hard on the new music and those who have heard the tracks say they sound amazing.
“Jade has already met with Sony to talk things through but has really been impressed by Atlantic, and all signs point to her going with them. She has held top-secret talks with them and it’s all really positive.”
Last month,it was reported that Jade was rumoured to have been in talks with Atlantic Recordsto release new music, the label which also represents artists such as Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora and Lizzo.
Rumours of a Little Mix hiatus –which the band announced on 2 December– had been circling after Jessy Nelson left the band last year and Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock became mums this summer.
Earlier this year, Jade spoke of how it had been “really beautiful” to see the band start to delve into their own projects.
Speaking to Gay Times , she said: “I think no matter what happens, Little Mix will always be there. I think in the past couple of years, we have started to delve into doing our own little things. That's been really beautiful to see.”
Jade continued: "I think initially in the first few years, all of us were terrified at the thought of doing something for yourself. One, because you just get so used to having each other and two, you know what the press are like, the minute one person does something they say, 'Oh, what's happening?'"
The brunette admitted that as a result, the three of them were "scared of any of us doing anything individually".
However, it was "really lovely actually" when they started to branch out and pursue things on their own as well as their Little Mix commitments as they wanted to show the public "a bit more about themselves individually".
Jade said the three of them have "really managed to get that balance right" in the past year, and they will want each other to "win".
Jade added: "There was not a doubt in our mind that we would continue as a three. Obviously so glad that we have because what a year we've had, and will continue to have years and years to come."
