Former I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! campmates Vicky Pattison and Scarlett Moffatt have given their opinions on this year's show.

The pair, who were both crowned queen's of the jungle, have slammed the show as they think this year's campmates are having a much easier ride in Gwrych Castle than they would if they were in the Australian Jungle.

And it seems a real bug bear for Geordie Shore star Vicky, 33, who won in 2015, and former Gogglebox star Scarlett, 30, who bagged the top prize in 2016, is that the campmates are having hot showers.

Vicky told The Sun: “I do think there’s going to be a lot of past campmates sitting round and watching this year’s I’m A Celeb and going, ‘What the f***? They have it so easy compared to us’.”

While Scarlett has said: "I got so angry that they got hot water."

She added: “I know they’re in Wales so it is cold, but they should have ice cold water. That’s part of the experience. Why have they got hot water?”

And on the trials, Scarlett reckons this year's appear easier and more bearable than when she was in the show.

Scarlett said: “I watched one of the trials — they were having rotten tomatoes thrown at them and I was like, ‘if only we just had to deal with vegetables. That would have been the dream’.”

The outspoken star remembers when she visited her hairdressers for the first time after winning the show.

She went on: "When I came out and went to get my extensions out and she started taking them out — she started screaming.

“I was like, ‘what’s the matter?’ And there was literally about four cockroaches in my hair, half mealworms."

However, Vicky also thinks this year's celebs have missed out on not being able to go to Australia.

She said: “I feel a bit sorry for them that they’re not in Australia. It’s so nice isn’t it?

“It does feel like you’re part of something big. All they did was jump in the back of an Uber.”
