Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the celebs who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in mid-November 2022, starting with this pair… On Nov. 15 — two days before Ellen Pompeo confirmed rumors she’s set to leave “Grey’s Anatomy” following nearly two decades on the long-running medical drama — her husband, Chris Ivery, was photographed leaving Nobu in Malibu with a pretty blonde mystery woman. (See photos here.) The hangout sparked questions about the status of their marriage of 15 years. A few days later, Deux Moi shared a blind item about “a network actress” who recently talked about “closing a chapter professionally.” According to the blind — which is clearly about Ellen but should be taken with a hefty grain of salt — the actress and the music producer “have been separated for a while, and though it is not their first time [separating], most of her friends hope it’s finally the official one.” The blind item also notes that while Chris isn’t cheating on Ellen with the mystery blonde, “he has” cheated on her in the past.

According to The Sun, Andrew Garfield and Phoebe Dynevor are now an item after connecting at the GQ Man of the Year Awards in London on Nov. 16. “[They] clicked straight away, there was an immediate attraction. They know each other through various acquaintances in the business and have plenty in common. But this is certainly no one-off encounter. After leaving together, they’ve since met up and are acting like a proper couple,” a source told the British tabloid. It’s the “Bridgerton” actress’s first public romance following her mid-2021 split from Pete Davidson. The “Spider-Man” star, meanwhile, split from his last girlfriend, model Alyssa Miller, in the spring of 2022.

On Nov. 18, People magazine broke the news that, according to multiple sources, Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde are “taking a break” after two years of coupledom. “He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A. It’s a very amicable decision,” said a source, adding that the actress and the pop star are “still very close friends.” Said a second People source, “Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart. … The public pressure on them has been difficult. They’ve had ups and downs throughout the relationship.” Echoed a Page Six source, “There is no bad blood between them. Harry didn’t dump Olivia, or vice versa. This is the longest relationship Harry’s ever had, so clearly they have a special bond. … They’re on a break. It’s impossible to have a relationship when he’s in every continent [touring] next year and Olivia has her job and her [two kids with ex Jason Sudeikis]. This is the right thing for both of them.” The insider added that Harry and Olivia are still “friends” and that fans can expect to “see them together” from time to time in the wake of the breakup. Said a second Page Six source, “Things have been challenging for them as a couple because of Harry’s tour, while Olivia needs to spend time with her kids in London, where they are with Jason.”

I was unprepared for meeting you. … Warmth and light radiated from you that had nothing to do with the heat. I felt like I couldn’t stop looking at you but I was scared to meet your eyes in the same second out of fear you’d see all the guarded parts of me at once. I wanted to run away and shrink and simultaneously be around you. It’s a really interesting thing to feel hope and fear together and know that 2 things can exist at once. And now as I write this over 6 months have passed since we first met on that beach and it’s just WILD how much we have grown. Hope and a million conversations, belly laughs, patience and honest tears have let our guards come down. You are the easiest to love. You are solid, unwavering, passionate and safe. You are my favorite place to land.”

Monty, meanwhile, noted that he was “heartbroken over Renée” when they broke up earlier this year. (It was their third breakup overall.) Now he’s working hard to prove to Renée that he’s committed to their relationship: “I’m just making sure she feels like a queen. I’m not doing shirtless TikToks, I’m cleaning it up. I’m not being bad. I haven’t been doing anything bad lately. I just let her know that I was ready to commit, so here we are right now.
