A WOMAN has revealed how her "bad boy" boyfriend cheated on her when she couldn't pick him up from jail on Sundays.
And the lad was only caught out because of a McDonald's meal.
Speaking on news.com.au's Kinda Sorta Dating podcast, Aussie Jana Hocking revealed how her ex was was made to spend weekends in prison on two occasions during their five-year relationship.
Speaking to host Samantha Wills, the 36-year-old said she was “so in love”that she’d leave university, where she was studying journalism, early to drive him to weekend detention.
But she couldn't pick him up on Sundays as she had to drive back to Charles Sturt University, in Bathurst, from Sydney for a new uni week.
And she says the love rat seized the opportunity to get his secret second girlfriend to do the task.
She explained: “I was going out with a really naughty boy, he went to jail, well, weekend detention.
“He was the worst boyfriend in the whole world, and I used to go pick him up from weekend detention while I was doing my journalism degree… Listen, I’ll say I had a thing for a bad boy but the past proves it’s a pattern.”
Jana said the controversial relationship came to a climactic end when Jana discovered she wasn’t the only woman in his life.
She added: “When we finally broke up I found out that a girl used to come and pick him up.
“On Sundays, I used to have to go back to Bathurst for uni so I couldn’t pick him up from his little weekend detention, so she would come pick him up.
“And the reason I found out is because my mum’s best friend saw them at McDonald’s together.”
Jana, who's rumoured to be dating millionaire publican Stu Laundy, 46, winner of the 2017 season of The Bachelorette, says the cheating experience was her romantic "rock bottom".
