January Jones Just Low-Key Showed Off Her Abs While Cleaning Her Pool

  • January Jones posted new photos showing off her abs in a crop top and leggings.
  • She was in the midst of cleaning her pool while she took the photos.
  • January swears by Pilates to stay toned.

Who says you can’t look cute while cleaning? While fishing a dead frog out of her pool, January Jones showed off her toned abs in a lime green crop-top and leggings set, as evidenced by her most recent Instagram dispatch.

“Kid: ‘Can you clean the leaves outta the pool mom!’ Me: you got it. ‘Ahh! There’s a dead frog at the bottom of the pool mom!’ Me: shit.. ok, on it. (A. I need tasks right now, B. He’s lucky to have a pool to scream at me about),” she captioned the post.

Best known for playing Betty Draper on Mad Men, the star of the new Netflix skating drama Spinning Out stays fit with a steady rotation of Pilates and barre. (Yes, she finally started exercising after telling InStyle in 2016, “I have never exercised in my life.”)

“Two or three years ago I started doing barre classes, and after that I took regular private Pilates lessons,” she recently told Shape. “Then a friend told me about Lagree Pilates. I’ve been doing it two to four times a week for the past year now, and I’ve gained weight because I’ve put on muscle.” Though she says she went up a clothing size, she thinks she “look[s] better naked.”

She told InStyle she also prefers exercising with friends (same, girl). “I think going with friends really motivates—you motivate each other to go. I’m so uncoordinated, but it’s fun.”

These celebs also prefer sweating with a buddy:

Though she doesn’t restrict herself to a specific diet, she does eat organic food and start her day with celery juice. “Last winter, I started drinking celery juice every day, and I’ve seen amazing results in my energy, digestion, and skin and how I sleep,” she said. “I have that in the morning, then I take my vitamins and drink coffee.”

Since she’s mom to an 8-year-old, she also cooks a lot. Some of her family’s dinnertime staples are salmon with french fries, and pasta, and green veggies.
