I'm a gym girl – I was insecure about my glutes but grew them in 6 months, I got the 'bubble butt' every girl wants | The Sun

A GYM girl has shared her workout method for growing her glutes.

She said she managed to grow the muscles in just six months.

Michelle Yasa (@fityassa) shared the video with over 9,000 TikTok followers.

"This is what my body looked like back in August," the influencer said, pulling up a side profile of her body from August 2021.

"I was working really hard in the gym to look like this but one thing I was a little insecure about and couldn't obtain was growth in my upper glute and that lifted/fuller glute look," she said.

Six months later into her transition period, she showed off her glutes in a two-piece blue workout set.

"Going back to what I did then: I literally worked my glutes probably 5 times a week, I did not hit my protein intake whatsoever, I was in the the gym literally an hour and a half to two hours every single day," she said.

She explained that she was terrified of working out her upper body and all the effort she put in didn't necessarily bring her the results she wanted.

"Now I'm taking Creatine every single day, trying my best to get around 100 grams of protein, I am doing upper body twice a week and lower body three times a week, and lastly I do the same workouts every week," she said.

"Every time you workout, there's microscopic tears in your muscle so when you rest, they grow back and become stronger so the next time you do the workout, it will be less effort and your muscles will be able to grow more."
